Three Montauk brothers have reopened their café, 668 the Gigshack.
Arden, Sky and Gray Gardell, are local surfers and surfcasters. The Café has an outdoor wine and beer bar and is open seven days, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is indoor/patio seating, a take out menu and beach catering available.
Gray, the youngest executive chef in the Hamptons, graduated from East Hampton High School and attended The French Culinary Institute in New York City. He specializes in Global Surf Cuisine.
Beach dishes, such as Crispy Fish Taco, Pulled Pork Sandwich, Organic Burgers and Grilled Provolone Salads, are light fare and reasonably priced. BBQ Ribs, Chicken, and Pork are smoked on premises. A children’s menu is available and families, fisherman and motorcyclists are welcome.
Tracey Gardell, a local yoga teacher and their mom, is offering freshly baked scones, muffins and pastries for breakfast and real gelato ice cream for dessert. Espresso and specialty coffees served from 9AM-11PM. The building, which Tracey designed as a Surfer Shack, has a Jackson Pollack inspired ceiling and carries the work of local artists.
I highly recommend that you check this place out!
