I haven’t been in years and this was a really nice setting. We went to the First Presbyterian Church on 11th Street and 5th Ave, it has some interesting architectural details (built around 1860) and a very warm inviting feeling. A point of interest was the Minister talked about how this decade will go down as the most difficult one since WWII, for the following reasons; y2k, the tech bubble burst, 911, the Afghan war, the Iraqi War, financial meltdown, mortgage meltdown, deep recession, unemployment at 10% and Bush (I added that one).
